Arete the Shark-Toothed
Hi there Frontierchris, I left a delete tag on the Arete the Shark-Toothed article that you just created for various reasons. First, place of origins at this point is irrelevant as it can be both randomized as well, including for those mercenaries that appear in specific storyline or side quests.
As an example, which I included in the edit summary, here is another involving Talos the Stone-Fist. Although he is not a randomized mercenary, his place of origins are different for each player. I for one had him originating from Samothrace, while another player has a different one. As such, his place of origin is not included in the article itself and since he's storyline relevant, thus the inclusion of him with an article itself. Hope you can understand this. XOdeyssusx (talk) 02:12, February 6, 2019 (UTC)
- What about Zoe the Cyclops Slayer?
- Managed to found a video of another mercenary with 'the Cyclops Slayer' title, which thus make Zoe a randomized mercenary as well. That is why we made the decision to only include those mercenaries who appeared the storyline and side missions for now only due to this confusion. As such, I'm gonna tag the Zoe article for deletion then. Also, please remember to sign your messages with ~~~~ XOdeyssusx (talk) 02:25, February 6, 2019 (UTC)
You should do the same for Theodokles the Blood Drizzle. --Frontierchris (talk) 02:29, February 6, 2019 (UTC)
I know Arete the Shark-Toothed is a randomized mercenary but I can't find any videos of anyone else under the title "the Shark-Toothed," so can we just let it be for now? Frontierchris (talk) 16:07, February 6, 2019 (UTC)
Mercenary articles
Hey Chris, I see that you have been posting a comment Jasca's Ducato's page whenever you create a new mercenary article. I think he would really appreciate it if you could stop spamming his page with your updates. You just create the articles that's it, no need to update him or Master Sima Yi whenever you do so. XOdeyssusx (talk) 03:24, February 10, 2019 (UTC) Sorry I guess I got carried away--Frontierchris (talk) 03:26, February 10, 2019 (UTC)
Adrestia Crew
Hey there Chris, I see that you have been adding a number of crew members into the Adrestia page. I just wanna know if these people you added are from specific quests, or you just look at people's playthrough with those crew members on board. Because if so, then I don't think they should be added, given how those people recruited can be randomized for each individual except for those that are available or unlocked through several circumstances. XOdeyssusx (talk) 06:07, February 13, 2019 (UTC)
- They’re all from specific quests. I saw most of them on a 100% walkthrough by MiKeYROG on YouTube. --Frontierchris (talk) 16:26, February 13, 2019 (UTC)
- Hmm okay, but are those characters presented with a dialogue choice whether to join or not? Also what kind of quests are those, bounty or timed quests? Because if so, then it's also a choice made the player itself and also cause it can be randomized. XOdeyssusx (talk) 02:16, February 14, 2019 (UTC)
Weapon Images
Hey FrontierChris, again just wanna say I really appreciate you helping out with the weapon images and stuff. But please do note to source your images because there's a couple of policies in place and a number of copyrights that the Wikia has to follow. XOdeyssusx (talk) 04:34, February 18, 2019 (UTC)
Assassination targets
Hi Chris, recently I have been looking the edits and noticed you have been publishing your numerous edits within a small period of time as shown in this. It isn't allowed so my advice is that you add in the content that you wish to all in one edit rather than adding parts by parts as this would make it look like you are edit spamming.
Also, I removed the some of the info you added such as the traits because as mentioned in CoK's member list part, those not exactly part of their own name but mostly traits and titles instead. Also, Zetes the Retired's fate is ultimately decided up to the player, whether spared or killed. So canon wise, its best to just leave his outcome unknown. In addition, Nikolaos, Myrrine and some other individuals you added are not considered as Proto-Assassins at all. Not every information of assassination needs to be up there. XOdeyssusx (talk) 02:26, March 3, 2019 (UTC)
Images
The rules of this wiki literally tell you to source all images when you're uploading them and that all sourceless images will be deleted. You've already been told to source the images; failure to follow that guideline will result in the deletion of said images, with no need to warn you or anything. Sadelyrate (siniath) 12:51, March 3, 2019 (UTC)
Editing
Instead of editing a whole lot of times the same article, try to put in all the edits at the same time. For example, you can construct the article you want to add into the wiki in a text editor, and just copy+paste it. You can also, while editing, add in all the relevant categories.
- Editing is welcome, and appreciated, but some might view repeat edits as 'badge hunting'. Sadelyrate (siniath) 20:41, March 6, 2019 (UTC)
Well I'm not 'badge hunting' I'm just remembering these things one or two at a time. By the way I've been placing some of Kassandra's assassination targets by location, like when I placed the Mytilenian Shark after the Cerberus Brothers, and by checking the dates of side missions in each area. There are still six more targets I'm having trouble with: Pallas, Machoan, and Polemon are in Achaia and I can't seem to find any side missions in that area (that is before the Legacy of the First Blade), the Octopus and the Hydra are only marked as located in the Aegean Sea, and I have no idea where Exekias is located. Have any information that can help? Frontierchris (talk) 21:46, March 6, 2019 (UTC)
Mercenary articles
Hi there. if you're going to be creating articles for each Weekly Mercenary then can you please remember to include the arppropriate Eraicon on the articles? In this case, you want {{Era|Individuals}}. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:25, March 13, 2019 (UTC)
- Frontierchirs, please read your messages. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:00, March 15, 2019 (UTC)
Klaars the Exasperated, Nikolaos the Fearless Cook, and Yulios the Balanced are not weekly mercenaries. I only added these articles because their names and biographies are the same in every game. However, their avatars change randomly so no pictures will be added. I got this idea from Sadel when he told me why he deleted the images he added to the articles for two of the mercenaries from the Legacy of the First Blade DLC. Frontierchris (talk) 16:56, March 15, 2019 (UTC)
- There is absolutely no way on earth you can guarantee certain mercenary names and biographies always go together - you yourself just said their character models change. Any mercenary article created that doesn't correspond to either a Weekly target, or from a specific mission, will be marked for deletion. I have left a duplicate message to this effect on my talk page. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 20:13, March 17, 2019 (UTC)
It’s alright Jasca, XOdeyssusx already talked me out of it. --Frontierchris (talk) 20:14, March 17, 2019 (UTC)
Polytheists
Stop right now, and provide the source for your claim.Sadelyrate (siniath) 18:36, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
Why do I need sources for this? Everyone knows that during that time the Greeks still believed in mythical gods. Frontierchris (talk) 18:38, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
- Because not everyone did. Only canon goes into this wiki, things that can be proven and sourced. Because that's the way this wiki works. Sadelyrate (siniath) 18:42, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
- Frontierchris, everything inserted into an article on the wiki is required to be sourced, as stated in our Sourcing Policy, which I am sure you read before making your first edits on this site. (The specific are in question is "No original thought.") Stating "everyone knows […] the Greeks still believed" is not citable and, frankly, incorrect. This applies also to atheists, agnostics, monotheists et al – we simply cannot reliably source any character's belief structure.
- Because of this, I have marked the category for deletion – if you want to, you can challenge this on the category talk page. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:15, March 20, 2019 (UTC)
Heroes
What a heroes category? Would you object to that? Frontierchris (talk) 18:51, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, I would, because 'heroes' is too vague. Heroes of what? Whose heroes? Sadelyrate (siniath) 18:57, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
Greek Heroes! Frontierchris (talk) 18:59, March 19, 2019 (UTC)
The Mighty Xanotos
To Jasca Ducato and XOdeyssusx, the Mighty Xanotos is one of the mercenaries whose names and avatars are the same in every game. I still have yet to find his biography though but anyway I just wanted to give you a heads up. Frontierchris (talk) 14:42, March 20, 2019 (UTC)
Dates
What do you base on the idea that 431 BCE was the year Midas and Chrysis died? Sadelyrate (siniath) 13:55, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
Midas, I don't know, but Chrysis was killed before the Monger was. Frontierchris (talk) 13:57, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
- We don't know the specific year of death for the Monger, either, so I'm afraid that that won't tell us anything else but that they both died before the Plague of Athens and Kassandra heading to Naxos to meet Myrrine in around 429 BCE. Not enough, certainly, to say that they died in 431 BCE. Sadelyrate (siniath) 14:01, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
All the quests are marked as 431 BCE. Frontierchris (talk) 14:03, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
- They were created as soon as people first learned of them, right before and after the game was published. The years can be, and occasionally are for certain, misleading. I haven't gotten around to verifying them, yet. Unfortunately, the game itself offers relatively few 'hard' dates. Sadelyrate (siniath) 14:07, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
What about the Order of the Storm, what's their elimination date? Frontierchris (talk) 14:09, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
- Haven't gotten around to them yet. We'll see if someone'll notice something to fix the suggested dates. Sadelyrate (siniath) 14:13, March 22, 2019 (UTC)
Comment removal
Do not delete other peoples comments. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 12:56, April 10, 2019 (UTC)
I didn't delete Sadel's comment, we must've been commenting at the same. I don't know where he got that idea, but I would never delete other peoples comments. Frontierchris (talk) 17:34, April 10, 2019 (UTC)
- There is a difference of three hours and fifty-three minutes between Sadel's edit and yours. That hardly constitutes "commenting at the same" time. Even then, if you had been commenting at the same time then you would have received an edit conflict notification in which you would have needed to deliberately overwrite Sadel's comment in order to publish your comment. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:07, April 11, 2019 (UTC)

Ilios the Bitter
The mercenary I just added is one of those whose avatar, name, and biography is the same in every game. I'm just letting you guys know so we can avoid any ideas of deletion. Frontierchris (talk) 18:54, April 19, 2019 (UTC)
Short blades
Hey, we had a discussion about this category and decided you were actually correct with drinker of light. So if the game categorizes a weapon as just a regular sword it does not belong in Short Blades. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 02:19, April 28, 2019 (UTC)
