Abstergo Industries Macau facility

The Abstergo Industries Macau facility is a complex belonging to Abstergo Industries located in Macau, China.

In 2023, Noa Kim was kidnapped and taken to the facility, where he was forcibly placed in an Animus and made to relive the memories of his ancestor, the Assassin Edward Kenway. The procedure was overseen by Doctor Shimazu Sei, who had been tasked to locate a Piece of Eden found by Kenway in Asia. Sei later removed Noa from the Animus after he caused a number of synchronization errors and made a deal with him, promising him his freedom in exchange for his cooperation.

Noa was subsequently removed from the Animus several more times, as to avoid succumbing to the Bleeding Effect. In-between his Animus sessions, he resided in a small room containing minimal living facilities, such as a bed. On one occassion, Noa left the facility alongside Sei and a number of guards, in order to follow up on a lead in the A-Ma Cultural Village to help them better trace Kenway's footsteps. When this happened, he was handed a blindfold and a pair of headphones by Sei, as test subjects were not allowed to see most areas of the facility.
