Ezio, my friend! How may I be of service?

The Assassin's Tombs are six tombs constructed by Domenico Auditore across Italy, which contain the remains of six of the greatest of the Assassin's Order. The tombs were created as a dedication to their lives, with the bodies moved from their original graves to these Tombs.

Each crypt contains an Assassin's Seal, which, when accumulated, unlock a gate in the Sanctuary of the Assassins underneath Villa Auditore, hidden behind which is Altaïr's armor, the strongest armor of the time.

The Tombs

A tomb was located in the catacombs underneath this church. It was the resting place of Darius, whose seal bore a Hidden Blade.

This is also the location of the story mission, "Novella's Secret" at the end of DNA sequence 4.

This tomb also unlocks the Achievement/Trophy "Undertaker"

An interesting easter egg happens in this tomb. Once you get to the chamber, pulling the lever then looking down in the water for a minute, activates a cutscene.

which involves a giant squid swimming in the water. if ezio pulls the lever again and looks in the water, the squid will

attempt to attack ezio. But he manages to dodge it.
