The Assassin's Creed: Shadows soundtrack is a collection of music tracks written by the British composing team Joe Henson and Alexis Smith, known collectively as The Flight, Japanese psychedelic rock group TEKE::TEKE, and British-Tanzanian rapper Adam "Tiggs Da Author" Muhabwa that will be used as background music in Assassin's Creed: Shadows. It will release on 15 November 2024.
Background
On 12 June 2024, a 4-track EP titled Themes of Shadows was announced as a promotion for Shadows and released 2 days later. Ubisoft revealed the three different collaborating artists and what each of their sounds would bring to the game. The music duo The Flight, the composers of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, would return and incorporate traditional Japanese instruments and musicians, blending them together for a unique modern style of sound. The Montreal-based Japanese band TEKE::TEKE would contribute their experimental approach to music to create original songs used for emotional soundscapes.
