I like the attempt to not copy Wikipedia's lede, but being made from grain is what defines whiskey, not it being aged in wooden cases. / Project Legacy crafting isn't for just the Renaissance period. It is for all periods in Project Legacy, including settings as recently as 2003. / Are we sure the appearances list is incomplete? I don't think whiskey has been so ubiquitous across the series for us to assume it's been everywhere. Wasn't it only mentioned in shanties in Black Flag?
