Wareham is a city in England.
History
In the late 9th century, the Viking raider Guthrum planned to take Wareham to help with taking Wessex, it being both a port town, allowing their ships to drop off the Vikings stationed at Northumbria and other distant locations, and close to Alfred's throne in Winchester.
