Vaskr was a female Jötnar archer who lived in Svartálfaheimr.
Biography
Not much was known about Vaskr, except her rare relationship with the dwarf, Svass. After some time, near the Jordevgr Shelter, Vaskr was at her wits end as her love for Svass proved impossible, due to the general hatred of Jotuns from the dwarves. Soon, Vaskr was heard by the Æsir lord, Havi, who asked about her well-being. After explaining her predicament, Vaskr asked Havi to enter the shelter undetected. As Havi agreed, Vaskr immediately shapeshifted into a wolf, much to Havi's disgust. Entering the shelter, Vaskr led Havi to find Svass within the shelter. Soon, Vaskr found and met with Svass, who was elated to see her. Vaskr soon declared her love to Svass, who reciprocated his feelings to her.[1]
