Ubba was a Viking who served as one of the commanders of the Great Heathen Army, an army of Scandinavians that invaded Anglo-Saxon England during the late 9th century.
Following the death of the Viking leader Ragnar Lodbrok at the hands of Ælla of Northumbria, Ubba remained in England with Ragnar's sons Ivar and Halfdan, seeking to take revenge on the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms.[1]
