Tunis is the capital city of Tunisia.
In 1511, Ottoman Assassins sent from Constantinople by the Assassin Mentor Ezio Auditore da Firenze eliminated several corrupt Hafsid ministers who had been taking bribes from the Templars.
The liberation of Tunis was part of the Assassin's Mediterranean Defense, in which apprentice Assassins were contracted to liberate key cities around the Mediterranean, bolster their infrastructure and defend them from Templar recapture.
