The Da Vinci Disappearance was a singleplayer DLC for Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, bundled alongside Animus Project Update 3.0. It was released on March 8, 2011 for Xbox 360 (800 Microsoft Points), and March 9, 2011 for PlayStation 3 (£7.99 or $9.99). Accompanying this, it was included free in the PC version of the game, due to the delay of the platform's release date.
The Da Vinci Disappearance memories could only be started after completing "Double Agent", though to complete the whole sequence, "High-Stakes Negotiations" must have also been completed.
Plot
In 1506, after the fall of the Borgia in Rome, Leonardo da Vinci was kidnapped by the Hermeticists, an underground cult dedicated to "transforming mankind."
In order to find the inventor and friend, Ezio Auditore embarked on a relentless quest to recover Leonardo's stolen paintings, who had apparently discovered the entrance to a hidden temple that the Hermeticists desired.
Locations that Ezio traveled to included Belriguardo Castle, where he encountered Lucrezia Borgia, and the Temple of Pythagoras.
Content
The DLC contained eight memories, two locations, the Hazard dice game in La Volpe Addormentata, and ten achievements.[1] It was also contained alongside Animus Project Update 3.0, which was comprised of two Animi training modes (Escort and Assassinate), a simulated location (Alhambra), and four Animi Avatars (the Dama Rossa, the Knight, the Marquis, and the Pariah).
Additionally, the console versions also included the Harlequin and the Officer Animi Avatars, the Helmschmied Drachen Armor outfit, and two Templar Lairs; all of which came with Brotherhood's Limited Codex Edition.
