Talk:The Da Vinci Disappearance
Does anybody know if the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC is free?
RE[edit source]
No, it's 800 Microsoft Points or $10 on PS3. And sign your posts with 4 ~. Vatsa 15:05, February 23, 2011 (UTC)
As far as I've heard it's free for the PC version only. In fact I might just go ahead and add that to the article.83.254.140.40 10:47, March 5, 2011 (UTC)
Pythagorian Temple[edit source]
Found out the name of the hidden temple with the name of this screenshot

For some interesting information, see http:/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pythagoras#Life, especially the last paragraph. A secret brotherhood? Quite obvious.

Find out date for PS3 release and stop chaning xbox[edit source]
it say in AC:BH in multiplayer that its on 10th (in xbox) so why keep changing to 9th? Bobemor 16:11, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
I think it might depend on where you are, I personnally am in the UK and the UK website says March 8th for 360 and March 9th for PS3 :(. YourFace180 16:17, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
Same in Uk but on game it said 10th (doesn't say anydate now as its now realised, but hey why am i complaing? i get it sooner.Bobemor 20:15, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
Its fair that 360 users got it earlier, after all, we got the Copernicus Conspiracy :D YourFace180 20:17, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
I wouldn't call it fair, we get it a day earlier, you got a DLC. Tom Talk 20:23, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
Well it wasn't that good anyway, the first mission was ok, but to be honest it isn't worth the hardrive space.
Also, is it true the Drachen armour and secret lairs and what not come with The Da Vinci Disappearance? YourFace180 20:32, March 8, 2011 (UTC)
Yes it is true that the Drachen armor comes with it I can promise you as my friend downloaded it and got everything people say it has. Im just not sure its worth the money though, I like the armor and multiplayer characters and all, but are the missions that great? Grim Leaper19 03:06, April 9, 2011 (UTC)
No there not. Thi DLC is a major failure in my opinion, it is overpriced, they used false marketing (promising us two new maps, not two maps you get to see once then never again) and it forces people with collectors (ETC) editions to buy their extra content again. At least with AC2 they waited like a year and offered seperate packs. 86.180.17.93 06:22, April 9, 2011 (UTC)
Evil[edit source]
Talk about extortion. Ubisoft sell more expensive editions of AC:B with special content that you can now get with the Da Vinci Disappearance. I suppose the Codex and jack-in-a-boxes are still there though. Rossko 18:38, March 10, 2011 (UTC)
Beginning and end[edit source]
I heard somewhere that there are 2 beginnings and two ends for this dlc. You witness one pair if you have completed the game and you witness another if you download it before finishing the game. Can anyone who has not finished the game but has the dlc please confirm when you get to it?
Sorry, i forgot to sign my post The Eagle1701 21:00, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
Here are the two endings: *POSSIBLE SPOILERS ALERT*
When you do it before completing the game you get two emails at the beggining and the end from a 'W.M'
When you do it after you completed the game, you get the same guys who talk during the credits (one of them named William) talking about whats happening and then abandoning you, possibly a hint at AC3?? YourFace180 21:06, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, cuz i finished it but i had already finished the game so i was going to replay the game to find out if it was true but i realized that i could just come here. The Eagle1701 21:28, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
Actually, when you get to the first of the missions, they say that you are not in a good condition, and then they argue for if desmond should proceed and get back to 1506 where the Da vinci dissappearennce took place. After finishing the DLC, when it loads, they say that they have got the location they needed to their computer but there are also bad news, Desmond is in a coma but possibly the one named William says that Desmond will overcome it as he always manages to get out of trouble. I believe that These dialogs, and this new DLC are parts of Assassin's creed 4 that will be reliesed next year. Probably they wanted us to be ready for more action, as these guys are seeking another piece of eden and needed the location of the Phythagorian temple with the strange marks of those who came before. Thanks for the dialogue, sorry I undid it before, it seemed to mess up the page, but hopefully it is fixed now :) (P.S, it is AC3, not AC4) YourFace180 21:45, March 11, 2011 (UTC)
What are these two new gameplay features that are supposedly included in this DLC?208.102.115.1 05:07, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
DLC help[edit source]
Hello, I was wondering if someone could help me. I recently downloaded the new DLC and I need an update to play it. Normally the update would pop up automatically, but it hasn't could some one please tell me how I can get the update so that I can play the DLC. Thank you (;,;) 09:38, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Do you play on xbox or PS3? --The Green LionChatterbox 09:43, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- And is it an update fore the game or for the system? YourFace180 11:04, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Sorry forgot to mention I use the Xbox, every time there is a new DLC you require an update, but there has been no update. (;,;) 12:44, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- It's quite alright now. I think I may have found a method to get the update. Thank you though for your help. (;,;) 13:44, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
- Can someone enlighten me as to how to get this thing to work? I've redownloaded this thing twice. Now I have to get rid of the extra "copies" of the DLC because they're all taking space on the hardrive, and still somehow get the marker to start the very first mission to activate.Son of God-Enel 23:57, December 16, 2011 (UTC)
Sneaky[edit source]
This DLC steals 90% of all the Codex Edition content the only "exclusive" thing left is the Making of and the soundtrack but even they can be watched on Youtube or downloaded meaning that Ubisoft have destroyed the limited editions apart from the Jack in the box
So I feel sorry for the people who pay an extra $40. Though, I have the digital codex edition so, I guess that people with "normal" editions enjoy it... O_O
That was frankly if i do say so myself a rather pathetic rant o_O
AdminAuditor(e)Talk 21:21, March 21, 2011 (UTC)#
I agree with you, at least with AC2 they waited like a year to release the Limited Edition stuff. AND, they advertised two new maps, not two new maps never to be seen ever again in game after their missions! YourFace180 23:20, March 21, 2011 (UTC)
Help?[edit source]
I downloaded the DLC afetr I finished the game, but before I destroyed all of the War Machines. Now that I've done just that and gotten the parachutes, how do i initialize the memory?
Help[edit source]
Please help me. Technically my husband Mike. We have bought the above for the xbox 360. My hubby has went to the temple and stabbed Lucy but we can't get onto the disappearance. This is most annoying to me as I paid for the damn credits. Please tell him how to get onto the disappearance. mike.landale@yahoo.co.uk
Aargh I don't want to spam but I need help
- When the credits finish and you can free roam in the city again, the missions should show up on the map, but with a different sign. Check the map and the legenda for further details. -- Master Sima Yi 22:29, June 20, 2011 (UTC)
