Tancred (died c. 870 CE) was an Anglo-Saxon anchorite living in England in the late 9th century. He was the brother of Torthred and Tova.
In the late 9th century, the Danes raided the Ancarig monastery, killing the priests, and burning some anchorite cells.[1] Tancred was slain by the attackers, though his siblings managed to escape.[2]
