Scevola Spina

Scevola Spina was a knight in Constantinople during the early 16th century. He was inspired by his Italian counterpart, Verulo Gallo, who lent his abilities to the Templar cause.

Wishing to follow in his footsteps, Scevola loyally obeyed the Templars without question, eliminating any targets that they ordered him to go after. Also mimicking his hero, he used a titanic greatsword as his weapon.

In 2012, his genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, for the training of their Animus recruits, under the title of the Knight.

Trivia

  • Scevola is an Italian name derived from Latin scaevus, meaning 'left-handed'. Spina is a Latin and Italian word meaning 'thorn' and 'spine'.
