New York City is a city in the United States of America.
During the 18th century, Desmond Miles' ancestor, the Assassin Connor, visited the city.
In 2003, after having fled from the Assassin hideout he had grown up in, Desmond ended up living in New York City, working as a bartender at a successful nightclub named Bad Weather.
