Money Changer District

The Money Changer District was a money-lending district in Sakai in Izumi Settsu, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In late 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe returned to Sakai, infiltrated the district, and dealt with its roaming outlaws. After eliminating the bandits, she recovered a note from one of them, in which a mysterious figure called the "Iron Hand" talked about how Oda Nobunaga's death provided an opportunity to take over Imai Sōkun's silver and steel business. With this information, Naoe left to discuss matters with Imai Sōkyū.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In the memory "The Kabukimono", while hunting down the kabukimono in Izumi Settsu, the player is given a choice of assassinating the Ghost General either in the Money Changer District or at the Port of Sakai.[2]
