Laid to Rest was a visual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.
Description
When he enters Aaru, Bayek knows that he can finally return Dennu's ring to him.
Dialogue
Bayek made his way to the House of the Threshed Grain, where he found Dennu.
- Dennu: Do I know you? I feel I should, as if the knots of our lives are entwined... I was once a merchant.
- Bayek: And you died at the hand of a rabit dog steward. I avenged you and have your father's ring.
- Dennu: How can one living traverse the Summerlands? But this means so much. I thank you, avenger.
Outcome
Bayek returned the ring of Dennu's father to him.
