L'Alexandre was one of 12 legendary ships encountered by the pirate Alonzo Batilla during the early 18th century.
A ship of the French Navy, she was located in Los Mártires and was tasked to protect Le Protée, a slave ship and well-prized pirate target.[1] The Man O' War was eventually sunk in Los Mártires with the slavery ship.[2]
