Jonathan "John" Pitcairn (28 December 1722 – 17 June 1775) was a member of the Templar Order and a British marine stationed in Boston, Massachusetts at the start of the American Revolutionary War. His name was on a list Haytham Kenway had when he travelled to america. He served under Edward Barrack who accused him of deserting and threatened him to die on the gallows. Haytham  ambused Barrack's patrol and saved Pitcairn , Haytham then recruited him to the templar order .
