Iltani was a Babylonian female Assassin living during the Argead Dynasty. She was responsible for the death of Alexander the Great, who she poisoned. It is possible that Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, Ezio Auditore da Firenze and Desmond Miles are her descendants.

Trivia

  • The real life Alexander the Great was said to have died of a fever after twelve days. There were rumors of him being poisoned, though it is highly unlikely to be true. He died in 323 BCE.
  • Iltani is the feminine form of a Babylonian word meaning "lucky" or "favoured by the god(dess)".
  • It is also the Babylonian name for the north wind.
