Alexis (died 403 BCE) was an Athenian soldier who served under general Thrasybulus in his revolt against the Thirty Tyrants.

Biography

During the Battle of Munychia, Alexis was fatally wounded when the Spartan army uncharacteristically attacked the Athenian flank, deviating from the standard "Spartan way" of a frontal assault. Although Alexis killed the soldier who had injured him and received some first aid afterward, he succumbed to his wound and died.[1]
