Dogan was a member of the Turkish Assassin Brotherhood, who achieved the position of lieutenant under Yusuf Tazim's leadership. After Yusuf's death, Dogan was promoted to leader of the Turkish Assassins by Ezio Auditore da Firenze, the Mentor of the Italian Assassins.
