A mirage is an optical phenomenon most often occurring in deserts in which displaced images of distant objects are projected due to the refraction of light rays.
Because of their common occurrence in Egypt, the Medjay founder of the Assassin Brotherhood, Bayek, witnessed numerous mirages in his travels across the land during his quest to destroy the Order of the Ancients.
