Corruption is a virtual training mode in the second stage of the Animi Training Program, which consists of three 5-minute rounds, with four to eight players each game.
Each match is divided into three rounds, where at the start of each round, one to three players are chosen to be "corrupted", and all take on the Animi Avatar of the Count. Meanwhile, the other players are spawned in as the Animi Avatar that they selected at the start of the match.
When "corrupted," your objective is to find and kill your targets in order to spread the corruption. Whenever a non-corrupted is killed, they will become corrupted and join onto the other team. When uncorrupted, however, you must hide to survive as long as possible.
Performing quality kills as corrupted will earn you points, while non-corrupted earn points by surviving for as long as possible, and by being in the proximity of a corrupted. The more players that are corrupted, the more points which the uncorrupted earn for surviving.
When there is only one uncorrupted remaining, a "sudden death" mode is triggered. The clock is set to one minute, and the last uncorrupted earns extra points for surviving, with even more if they survive for the entire minute, although this is quite hard to pull off. Finally, even though the players are divided into teams, Corruption is not a team mode, and the winner is decided by the player who earns the most points at the end all three rounds.
