Yan Gaoqing (顏杲卿; 692 – 756) was a Chinese official who served as Grand Protector of Changshan Commandery during the Tang dynasty. A native of Linyi, Langya Commandery, he acquired his profession due to the privileges he inherited from his family.[1] He was the cousin of Yan Zhenqing and father of Yan Jiming.[3]
In 756, the Yeluohe led by An Lushan's general Shi Siming besieged Changshan, capturing Yan Gaoqing and the remaining defenders.[4]
