Gambalto[1] was an Italian mercenary and an ally to Assassins Mario and Ezio Auditore.
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 1478, Gambalto tracked down the Pazzi conspirator Antonio Maffei to the tallest structure in San Gimignano, the Collegiata di Santa Maria Assunta. Following this, he stationed himself at its bottom, waiting to pass the information he had on Maffei and his allies so Ezio could assassinate his target.[2]
