Eydis was a Viking of the Raven Clan who lived in the settlement of Ravensthorpe during the 9th century. She operated the Barracks, and often advised the shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir on choosing a Jomsvikingr lieutenant to join the raiding crew aboard her personal longship, the Sea-Chariot.[1]

Eydis is a character appearing in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, where she is portrayed by Salóme Gunnarsdóttir, who also provides the voice for Swanburrow.
The name Eydis is derived from the Old Norse elements ey meaning "good fortune" or "island" and dís meaning "goddess".
