After the Bahri Mamluks revolted against their Ayyubid masters in 1250, the Assassins supported the rebels by entrusting them with the Scepter of Aset. Using the Piece of Eden, the Mamluks were able to depose the Ayyubid government in Egypt and found the Bahri dynasty. In addition to the Scepter, Darim Ibn-La'Ahad later gave an Apple of Eden to the first Sultan of the dynasty, which further helped the Mamluks to establish an era of prosperity in Egypt.[2] |
