After the Bahri Mamluks revolted against their Ayyubid superiors in 1250, the Assassins supported the rebels by entrusting them with the Scepter of Aset. Using the Piece of Eden, the Mamluks were able to depose the Ayyubid government in Egypt and founded the Bahri dynasty. In addition to the Scepter, Darim Ibn-La'Ahad later gave an Apple of Eden to the first Sultan of the dynasty, which further helped the Mamluk him to establish an era of prosperity in Egypt.[2] |
