Athens is the capital of Greece.
In 1511, remnants of First Civilization technology were found beneath the Acropolis. Ottoman Assassins were sent to Athens from Constantinople by Ezio Auditore da Firenze to guard the area until their scholars made a full survey of the area.
The Ottoman Assassins also took over Athens from Templar control, and restored and expanded the city, also installing several Assassin Dens.
