On December 1, 2009, Ubisoft announced its first two DLC releases for Assassin's Creed II. The first one, entitled "Battle for Forli" was released January 28th, 2010. The Bonfire Of The Vanities includes the sprint jump which let's Ezio jump twice as far. Bonfire of the Vanities also includes a new area in Florence, as well as the 3 in-game bonus quests (for a price - 560 MS/€6.99), allowing the character to explore the following (Each will show up as a "Templar Lair" on the map):
- Palazzo Medici in Florence
- Santa Maria Dei Frari In Venice
- Arsenal Shipyard Warehouse In Venice
Originally exclusive to the White, Black and Master Assassin's Edition.
Without the bonus missions, Bonfire of the Vanities will cost 320 MS/€3.99.
