:First, if current practice is deviating from the Manual of Style, it would be that those practices are in error unless decided otherwise by consensus, not that the MoS is outdated. Second of all, negligence in enforcement is not the same thing as enforcing it differently, and finally, how is the way we're enforcing it in violation of the MoS currently? IU v OOU
Following Huntbelmont's little breakdown over changes made to Renovation, it struck me that there is no explicit mention of the requirement for articles to be written from an in-universe perspective (unless dealing with an out-of-universe subject) within the Manual of Style. Possessive needs updating

- First, if current practice is deviating from the Manual of Style, it would be that those practices are in error unless decided otherwise by consensus, not that the MoS is outdated.
