:Pretty sure it’s in the US. In both cases of the Assassins going to Mongolia and Scandinavia they mention getting air transportation iirc but they don’t when going to mt mcgregor or the aerie. ::Imo, the existence of the torii there doesn't need to mean anything other than someone thought it'd look nice or somesuch. People take their heritage wherever they go. Given the chance, parts of it may be shown off.
