Two children, Wigbert and Aelwyn, were seen, setting a haystack aflame. Wigbert and Aelwyn were then chased by Anglo-Saxon [[soldier]]s, but as well by the [[Vikings|Viking]] [[shieldmaiden]] [[Eivor Varinsdottir]] of the [[Raven]] [[Raven Clan|Clan]]. After Eivor found Aelwyn, Wigbert came in and was shocked to see the Dane in front of him and took a step back. After Eivor dealt with incoming Quill's thugs, Wigbert was told by Aelwyn to give the item he stole from the previous thugs to Eivor, who asked for The Quill. Wigbert was an Anglo-Saxon boy, who served as an apprentice, spy, and thief for the Order of the Ancients member, The Quill during the 9th century in Wincestre. He was the friend of Aelwyn, an Anglo-Saxon girl who worked as his partner of crime for The Quill.

In addition, Wigbert worked closely with Aelwyn, another orphan girl. However, Wigbert seems to be mute, as he states nothing when he's in a conversation.[1]
