- "Ancient oaks line a narrow road. Ahead you'll find a sumptuous manor overlooking this classic riverside plantation. During a late Indian summer its quiet garden might look like Eden itself. But appearances can be deceiving..."
- ―Ubisoft description.

The Virginian Plantation was a simulated location used by Abstergo Industries' entertainment branch, in order to influence the general public through the console stage of the Animus technology.
The area consisted of a typical plantation, with a large estate at the center and various buildings, including pens, stables, a church and other residences, scattered around it. At the back of the estate lay its garden, which was primarily decorated with garden screes. Bales of cotton could be found all over the plantation, providing a handy hiding spot in a pinch.
The map had three aesthetic variations: daytime, summer night and rainy day.
