The Cat was a visual representation of one of Bayek's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.
Description
Bayek searched for the statue of Bastet.
Dialogue
Following Khui's clues, Bayek made his way to a pool of water near the Shrine of Akhenaten. He spotted a shipwreck in the waters.
- Bayek: The cat drowns... This ship sank carrying statues of the old gods.
He dived down towards the shipwreck and recovered the statue.
- Bayek: Aya kept a small charm of Bastet, the Invisible Paw when she had her morning sickness.
Outcome
Bayek helped Khui to recover the statue of Bastet.
