Tada Silver Mine was a silver mine north of Tada in Tamba, Japan.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and samurai Yasuke was brought into a storage to be killed by Japanese Templar Hosokawa Tama under the orders of Portuguese Master Templar Nuno Caro. When Yasuke awoke, Tama held him at gunpoint. However, she asked him if he meant to kill Caro truthfully, to which he agreed again. Admittedly, she told him that her father gave her and her brother Akechi Mitsuyoshi as a reassurance to the Templars and promised that he would return,[1] but reminded Yasuke of his and his ally Fujibayashi Naoe's hands in his death.[2]
However, Tama told him that she believed him when he wanted Caro gone and promised him Caro's location in return for her brother's safety. Yasuke agreed as Tama informed him that Mitsuyoshi was being held at Kameyama Castle. While Tama wanted to leave together, Yasuke convinced her to leave first to avoid suspicion as she told him to meet her at Atago Shrine with her brother. Yasuke then waited and escaped the mines to go find and rescue Tama's brother.[1]
