Scevola Spina was a knight in Constantinople during the early 16th century, who was inspired by his Italian counterpart, Verulo Gallo, that lent his abilities to the Templar cause.

Wishing to follow in his footsteps, Scevola loyally obeyed the Templars without question, eliminating any targets that they ordered him to go after. Also, mimicking his hero, he used a titanic greatsword as his weapon.

In 2012, his genetic memories were used by the Templar-owned company Abstergo Industries in the training of their Animus recruits, under the title of the Knight.
