Antony Henry is a member of the modern day Assassins and a linguist.
Biography
In 2020, Layla Hassan discovered old Isu writings in Canterbury while exploring the genetic memories of the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan. Her new cell consisting of Shaun Hastings and Rebecca Crane copied the data and sent it to Antony to analyze. Antony made a breakthrough and discovered a way to translate one of the Isu language dialects into English, then shared his translations of fragments of Isu text found across the world with Layla and her team.[1]
Behind the scenes
Antony's name is a reference to Antoine Henry, a designer at Ubisoft Singapore, as confirmed on January 13, 2021 by the fansite Access the Animus in a video detailing the process behind deciphering the Isu language.[2]
