Ludovico Orsi was a member of a noble family of Forlì and brother to Checco. Bored with their life in the countryside, they started a loan-sharking business, and murdered any who didn't pay their debts.
Once, the brothers were hired by Caterina Sforza to kill her own husband, Girolamo Riario, after finding out that he was a Templar. Riario, who was already in debt to the Orsi brothers, was killed during a meal by the Orsis.
Later, Rodrigo Borgia hired them to obtain the Apple of Eden, an artifact stolen from him by Ezio Auditore, and kill Caterina. The Orsis agreed and laid siege to the city of Forlì. In the progress, they captured two of Caterina's children. Checco left Ludovico responsible for guarding Ottaviano Riario, who he held captive on top of a lighthouse. After having rescued Bianca, Ezio climbed the lighthouse and killed Ludovico.
