He was also a sympathiser of the Qizilbash, an anti-Ottoman group, while remaining within their artillery corps.

In 2012, his genetic memories were used by the Templar company Abstergo Industries, for the training of their Animus [Abstergo recruits|recruits]], under the title of the Bombardier.
