Ji Wei was a Chinese martial arts master who lived in the town of Jade Spring, near Yangzhou City.

A friend of Wei Yu and his disciples, Ji Wei was asked by Fan Zeng to deliver an axe to one of the disciples. Ji Wei later challenged the disciple to a sparring contest in order to test their skills.[1]
