Iskender was the Mentor of the Egyptian Brotherhood of Assassins during the early 16th century, and a descendant of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.

His Assassins located two Memory Seals in Alexandria, and with the help of the Ottoman Assassins, they were able to secure them before the Templars did.

However, in 1511, he was arrested and detained in Alexandria, and was put up for execution. Fortunately, once he was notified of Iskender's circumstances, Ezio Auditore da Firenze sent some of his Assassin recruits from Constantinople to rescue him, of which they were successful.
