Alexandre Douce was a Hidden One who operated in the Pagus Pinciacensis region of Francia during the Carolingian Empire in the late 9th century.[1]
During the mass departure of the Hidden Ones from the Roman Empire's provinces of Britannia[2] and Gaul, a few Hidden Ones opted to remain behind.[3] By the 9th century, Alexandre was one of those who had inherited the Creed from those who had decided to stay and dedicate themselves to keeping the former bureaus in Paris and the surrounding cityside safe.[1]
During her time in Francia, jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir received quests from Reda, one of which was a request from Alexandre, who wanted Eivor to assassinate a target to help the Hidden Ones expand their influence within the region.[1]
