Germany is a country in middle Europe, situated close to France and Italy.
History
Roman Empire
In 259, the Assassin Accipiter, an Alaman, fought in a battle in the Roman Empire. The Alamans faced an army of Romans under the command of a general named Gracchus.[1]
Crusades
In the High Middle Ages, German Knights Teutonic aided King Richard I of England in the conquest of Acre.[2]
Essen
In 1348, the Plague crossed Essen, a town in Germany, and wiped out half of its population. Soon after this, a group called the Brothers of the Cross arrived. The Assassin Lukas Zurburg soon found out they were a Templar organization that offered protection from the plague, and he also suspected that they were after the Ankh, an artifact that was said to be located in central Europe. In 1350, both the Brothers of the Cross and Lukas disappeared.[3]
Renaissance
During the period of the Italian Renaissance, apprentices from the Roman Assassins Guild traveled to Germany to have a meeting with Conradus Celtis, a scholar that had discovered the Assassin Order through his research. The Assassins persuaded him to keep his discoveries secret, to which he eventually agreed.[4]
Soon after that, Elector Friedrich der Weise decided to found a school that would question the practices of the Borgia, though they prepared a bribe to prevent him from doing so.[4]
However, the Assassins intercepted the carriage that was to deliver the bribe, and made the Borgia believe that the money had been stolen by bandits. From there, they then used the money to make an anonymous donation to the school.[4]
Modern times
From 1939 to 1945, Germany was involved in World War II, being one of the major countries involved, along with France, England, and Russia.[5]
Adolf Hitler, the leader of the Nazi Party and dictator of Germany, plotted with Templars Winston Churchill, Joseph Stalin, and Franklin D. Roosevelt to form a New World Order. Through his associates, Hitler came into possession of a Piece of Eden, and during the war, he was supposed to use it to make a clone of himself that was to be left in the bunker. However, the real Adolf Hitler was assassinated and his Piece of Eden disappeared.[5]
