Duleep Singh (6 September 1838 – 22 October 1893), also known as Dalip Singh or the Black Prince of Perthshire, was the last Maharaja of the Sikh Empire and the youngest son of Ranjit Singh, ruling from 1843 to 1846.
An associate of the Assassin Henry Green, Duleep Singh was introduced to the former's fellow Assassin Evie Frye in 1868. He gave the Assassins the location of the plans for Buckingham Palace, where the Shroud of Eden was supposedly held.[1] Duleep Singh was later aided by Evie and her brother Jacob in his quest to reclaim his birthright as Maharaja.[2]
