Dogan was a Master Assassin of the Turkish Assassin Brotherhood, who became a lieutenant under Yusuf Tazim's leadership.
Dogan met Ezio Auditore da Firenze - the Mentor of the Italian Assassins - after his arrival in Constantinople in 1511 when Yusuf took him into the Assassin headquarters. Some time later, Dogan was joined by Ezio in retaking an Assassin Den from the Templars.
After Yusuf's death in 1512, Dogan was promoted to leader of the Turkish Assassins by Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
