Akami Shi Waterfalls is a waterfall in southern Nabari Wilds in Iga, Japan.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki member and shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe visited the waterfalls and found maggots near the top under her "auntie" Matsu's instructions. She collected them for the injuries of the young girl Murasaki she saved earlier and then returned back to the cabin where Matsu was.[1] At some point, Naoe and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke traveled to the waterfalls and heard a musician's melody for Shinobu to play at the homestead.[2]
