Biography
Bribing the Spanish
During the 1770s, Vásquez began bribing Spanish soldiers in an attempt to seize control of smuggling operations within the Louisiana Bayou. However, this plan was foiled by the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré, who used the power of voodoo to scare Vásquez's soldiers into believing they were cursed and fled the bayou.
A few years later, Aveline and her smuggler allies attempted to pass through the bayou, escorting an escaped slave named George and supplies meant for American patriots. With Spanish soldiers once again under his command in the bayou, Vásquez attempted to stop Aveline and the smugglers but was without success.
Death
