A ruthlessly ambitious Portuguese man and member of the Templar Order, Caro was sent to the Far East in 1560 to secure the Japanese imperial regalia for his foreign masters.
Nuno Caro and Yasuke's fates intertwined on their journey to Macao when Caro killed Yasuke's mother and nearly ended his life. Fortunately for Yasuke, an unknown Assassin intervened, and Yasuke was knocked overboard in the ensuing fight.
