Christopher Gist (1706 – unknown) was an accomplished colonial British explorer, surveyor and frontiersman, and a member of the Templar Order. He was born in 1706 in Baltimore but apart from that not much is known about Gist's childhood. During the Seven Years' War, he was the quartermaster of Shay Cormac's Morrigan.
